Products Information

Photographs record many scenes from our everyday lives, preserving excitement and memories. From the black-and-white photographs of past years to the digital photographs of today, the history of photographic prints is also the history of Noritsu Koki. Read about the changes that have taken place in photography over the last 50 years together with the history of Noritsu Koki.

In the age of black-and-white photography, photographs were considered a luxury. Developing of photographs was done manually.

In the 1960's, as more people came to own cameras and photographs became more commonplace, it became possible to process photographs automatically.

In the 1970's color became common in both television and photographs. The QSS minilab, a revolution in photofinishing technology, was invented.

In the 1980's one hour photo processing became the norm, and the photographic market grew in leaps and bounds.

The 1990's ushered in the digital age. People were given many new ways to enjoy photographs.

In 2000, a photograph has become something that people not only take and look at, but also something that they modify creatively.
