GRIEVANCE HOTLINE

To ensure compliance with the Group policies including the Noritsu Koki Group Human Rights Policy and the Noritsu Koki Group Procurement Guidelines, the Noritsu Koki Group has established a grievance hotline available for its external stakeholders, including workers of its business partners, local residents of its business locations, etc. who are or may be negatively affected (e.g., actual or suspected violations of the procurement guidelines such as violations of laws and regulations, human rights violations) by its business operations and supply chain. In accepting reports of grievances, we wil not disclose any information that may lead to the identification of the reporters, and will ensure that the privacy of the reporters is protected. We will not make any adverse treatment including acts of retaliation for the reason of reporting to the hotline.

After receiving a report, we will review the case and contact the reporter to inform of the expected procedures and the estimated time required within 20 days. Once we identify a fact of human rights violation, etc. as a result of our investigation, we will work to remedy or make corrective actions (this includes requesting our business partner for the corrective action) based on the Group policies including the Noritsu Koki Group Human Rights Policy and the Noritsu Koki Group Procurement Guidelines, in alignment with the United Nations Guiding Principles and other relevant human rights standards.

  • The hotline is available in Japanese, English or Chinese, and if the reporter cannnot use any of these language, we will consider using the local language of the reporter depending on the case.
  • The reporting format is open-ended, but please provide your “organization and contact information” and “who, to whom, when, and how the act that may be considered a human rights violation or a violation of the procurement guidelines, etc. took place” as detailed as possible.
  • If you have any materials or data that could support your report as evidences, please submit them as attachments.
  • If you wish to report a grievance in the form of anonymity, your report will be shared with Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd. and its group companies in a manner that does not lead to personal identification. Please make sure to indicate that you wish to remain anonymous when you report to us.

We will use the personal information provided through the hotline for the purpose of contacting the reporter in confirming the facts and communicating the results of our response.
